Competitive Soccer (click here for Q&A) (click for Player/Coach Contract) TUSC is now registering for the 2010/2011 soccer season. These teams are formed as either Level 2 Recreational teams or Classic and is for players U10 and above who are interested in playing in tournaments. Travel teams are registered for the FULL year (fall and spring season). The date and time of practice are to be set by the team coaches. Players can be registered with TSA on a recreational team as well, but they will be listed as primary with their competitive team and the competitive team schedule will take precedence for any conflicts. The purpose of TUSC is to provide a place for players who wish to
travel, and play matches with teams from other cities. TUSC encourages
inter-city league play, and tournament attendance throughout the year.
TUSC uses Volunteer, Licensed coaches for it's teams. This is not a
"SELECT" or "PREMIER" league, just people interested in helping players
get ready for the higher level of soccer they will see in High School. The players must be willing to commit to the team's travel schedule, games, AND practices, so that all involved can receive the best benefit from the program. The coaches give of their time. Each team will meet with the head coach before registration is done to ensure everyone understands the commitment. Anyone can register! Those wishing to join will not have to try out, this is recreational soccer. Playing time and starting positions are decided by Coaches, based on each player's effort and dedication, but everyone will play at least half the game as per recreational rules. Space is still available ! So far, we have teams at U-11 and U-12 Girls, and U-13 and U-14 Coed. Need information? Call or Email !
